Finished Basement
My husband and I purchased our home summer of last year. Our baby was due in Dec and we were going to have a bunch of family come and stay a month with us. So we needed our unfinished basement complete. We got quotes everywhere and some were good quotes but not close to the deadline when our family would be here to enjoy. We came across Matrix we saw Jeremy first, who came in to our home to help us put on paper what we had envisioned for our basement. Personally I did not think it would come to life the way the digital print was shown. But man, I was wrong! It came out BETTER! The whole staff and contractors were amazing, courteous, and fast! Neo and Grant were our favorite contractors that worked on our basement. And Ron ensured everything on the blueprint was completed from the biggest thing to the smallest detail in our basement! He even did some of the work himself. Ron listened to our ideas and concerns and made it all happen! We are beyond happy that they finished this project for us! We couldn’t of picked a better company for the job! We will be recommending Matrix to our friends!
Dream Family Basement
Diving into a basement project is scary!! It is a lot of money and a lot of time. I am so happy I selected to use Matrix. My project manager was Ron. His attention to detail and timeliness was exceptional. I am so glad I had a project manger and I didn't need to be one. The basement project turned out exactly what I imagined. I now have a space for my family to expand into and enjoy so leisure time! We love spend time in our new basement!! The walls, trim, window, floor, doors, lights, HVAC, and all the other items were done to perfection!
Ranch Basement Refinish
We had a great experience with Matrix and we are very happy with the end result. The team that took our project from start to finish was very thorough and always ready to answer any questions or discuss any adjustments to our timetable. They were extremely accommodating and always pleasant to work with. Specifically Suzy our scheduler, Jim our Carpenter, and Ron our Project Manager did great jobs for us and made sure we were satisfied with the process throughout. Amazing!
Hearing about the hassles of a bathroom remodel and how expensive it is had obscured the possibility of doing one. I saw an Ad with Matrix and decided to give it a try. I’m glad I took a leap of faith because the process was easy and work done was amazing! Jesse and Ron did an amazing job! Left my wife and myself speechless! Clean, professional and very respectful of our home. We love our new bathroom !
Full Basement overhaul!
From our first meeting with Jeremy, where we shared our dreams & crazy basement wish list, to our many chats with Anthony the head carpenter who would give us daily updates on what was happening next, and then our final walk through with Ron, where he walked with. to answer any questions we had and ensured all our needs were met... our time with Matrix has been absolutely wonderful! The project was a big undertaking, but everyone that played a part in our remodel was polite and extremely patient with us. That includes Susie at their office, as she always ensured someone followed up with us when we e-mailed any questions about the project. I would give these guys a 10 out of 10, and I would highly recommend them to any family members or close friends if they were doing some remodeling. Super excited to start using our basement!!!
Finished Basement
Extremely pleased with the high quality work done by Matrix. I bought my home in summer of 2021 and the basement was unfinished. Spent close to 4-5 months getting quotes from different companies and contractors. Either the quote was too high or the background reviews threw me off. A friend of mine got his basement work finished with Matrix and he recommended them to me. It was very easy working with Matrix from the start. The sales rep went through detailed design, pricing options and helped come up with a reasonable quote. From there on, it was very transparent and simple process. I changed some specs (solid core doors instead of hollow core, locks instead of plain door knobs) and it was reflected in the next CAD design. Marcus was the project manager assigned for my basement work. Very helpful and nice person. For an extra HVAC vent addition and couple of recessed lights addition, he did not charge extra. The guys would clean up the basement and take out the trash almost every day they would come and do some major work. I had some extra items (old carpets, blinds, floor wood panels) from the previous home owner who had left those in the basement. Matrix team gladly took those out as well. Towards the end of the project, there were some outstanding items and the project got delayed by 2 days. Chad (one of the co-owners) personally stepped in to ensure work completed within 2 days after the scheduled completion date. There were a few outstanding items and Chad ensured they were completed via service orders after the project was completed. All in all, I got a high quality work and finished basement looks extremely nice, and appealing. 5 stars and two thumbs-up to matrix !!!
Finished basement
We wanted to finish our basement and after getting several quotes, Matrix was the only one that went over everything in detail to provide us with an exact cost before starting. We had a schedule provided and we're updated throughout the project. Ron finished up with everything making sure it was done as expected and it looks fantastic! There was great communication and the work was top notch! We are very happy with the results.
Basement finishing
Everything was smooth sailing from our initial interaction with the sales rep until finishing. Total time was about 3 months for our 1100 square foot basement and the schedule was adhered to. Everybody showed up and left on time from insulation to floor. Everything looks amazing and it added so much more value to our home compared to the cost
New shower.
Had a good experience with Matrix. They remodeled our primary bathroom. Ron the production manager helped us with the planning. Jessie the installer did a great job installing the shower. Both were very professional.
Fantastic Customer Service
When we decided to get our basement finished we knew from past experience on other projects that we wanted a professional company that would stand behind their work and we were willing to pay a little more for that. We found that in Matrix! They were a little more expensive than other quotes but the sales process was much more thorough and detailed. Daniel was assigned as the project manager and we are very lucky he was. When we first met, he told us to contact him if we ever had questions, concerns, or problems and he would take care of it. When you have to coordinate so many phases of a project, roughing, electrical, plumbing, drywall, tile, floor, paint, etc., you hope everything gets pulled off without a hitch. But that's not reality. Reality is having a guy like Daniel to call and take care of things. After EVERY phase of the project he came by and inspected the work. He spotted things we didn't and had it corrected within days although he didn't have to correct anything our carpenter Kevin did as his work was impeccable. Everything was laser level and the basement was cleaned up every day. Matrix is extremely fortunate to have people like Daniel and Kevin representing them. Very glad we spent the money and would use Matrix again in a heartbeat!
